Equity Bank Our Environment Sponsors 2021
One of the core mandates of Syokimau Residents Association (SRA) is to safeguard our environment within Syokimau Estate and beyond. This necessitated the creation of one of our most vibrant and engaging Committee to deal with matters environment. This Committee has found a strategic partner in Equity Bank who have continued to support our efforts in tree planting in Syokimau Estate. For the second time, Equity bank has donated 5,000 seedlings to SRA. Our tree planting day 24th April 2021 went very well, The court Leaders came out to pick the seedlings for their respective courts and roads. Indeed the response from residents was overwhelming and the 5,000 seedlings were finished within less than an hour.

Equity Bank who are our sponsors were pleased by the residents’ response and we are hoping and lobbying to have them provide more seedlings every rain season.

SRA Environment team shall continue working with Equity Bank to transform our environment and also lobby other corporates to extend their CSR towards the transformation of our environments.
