Syokimau Residents Association is looking to recruit an Expo and Conference Sales Representative who will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our annual expo and conference for this year 2024. This role involves identifying and targeting potential clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, conducting market research, delivering persuasive sales presentations, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in selling expos and conferences, possess strong communication and negotiation skills, and be a resident of Syokimau. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the success of our SRA Expo and Conference which is a major annual event for the community.

Job Title: Expo and Conference Sales Representative

Location: Syokimau

Report to: Head of Welplicity (Welfare and Publicity) Contract Duration: 5 months (Starting 1st August 2024) Organization: Syokimau Residents Association
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Expo and Conference Sales Representative to join our team for a contract period of five months. The ideal candidate will have a background in selling expos and conferences and be a resident of Syokimau.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Generation:
   o Proactively identify and target potential clients through various channels including cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and social media.
   o Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve set sales targets and expand our client base.
2. Client Relationship Management:
   o Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
   o Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
3. Market Research:
   o Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and understand the competitive landscape.
4. Sales Presentations:
   o Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of participating in our expos and conferences.
   o Customize presentations to address the specific needs and goals of each client, demonstrating how our events can meet their objectives.
5. Target Achievement:
   o Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.o Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to the Welplicity Committee.
6. Contract Negotiation:
   o Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutual agreement and satisfaction.
   o Handle any objections or concerns raised by clients during the negotiation process professionally.
7. Event Coordination:
   o Collaborate with the Welplicity Committee to ensure a seamless experience for clients from the initial sale through to the execution of the Expo and Conference.
   o Assist clients with logistical details, ensuring their participation in the event is successful and hassle-free.
8. Follow-Up and Feedback:
   o Conduct post-event follow-ups with clients to gather feedback and assess their satisfaction.
   o Use client feedback to improve future events and enhance the overall client experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in selling expos and conferences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be a resident of Syokimau.
